Cities: Skylines II is set to make waves later this month with its next major expansion, Bridges & Ports, launching on October 29, 2025. Publisher Paradox Interactive announced that the upcoming DLC will introduce new ways for players to connect, manage, and build along their city’s waterfronts — complete with drawbridges, customizable harbors, maritime industries, and over a hundred new assets.
Priced at $19.99 / £16.99 / €19.99, Bridges & Ports brings a hefty set of features focused on coastal infrastructure and trade. Players can also pick up the Bridges & Ports Bundle, which includes the accompanying Cold Wave Channel Radio Station, for $22.49 / £18.89 / €22.49. Those who already own the Cities: Skylines II Ultimate Edition or the Waterfronts Expansion Pass will automatically receive both at no extra cost when they release.
At its core, Bridges & Ports is about connecting cities to the sea — and giving players more creative freedom to shape their skylines across water. The expansion’s highlights include:
- 20 new drawbridges and lift bridges: Movable structures that let ships pass through city waterways, adding a dynamic new layer to traffic management. Players can choose designs that prioritize vehicles, pedestrians, or trains across multiple sizes and styles.
- Customizable ports: Build small or large harbors with three gate sizes, then expand with specialized facilities like storage yards, passenger terminals, customs offices, and emergency response units. Tourism also gets a boost through new buildings such as maritime museums and conference centers.
- Expanded maritime industries: Players can now bring economic activity to their shorelines with fishing piers, inland fish farms, offshore oil rigs, and pipelines — turning coastal zones into thriving industrial hubs.
- An ocean of new content: Over 100 new assets, new achievements, and several new maps, including coastal peninsulas, bays, and large inland lakes.
To complement the nautical theme, Paradox is also releasing the Cold Wave Channel Radio Station, launching the same day. Described as a minimalist, atmospheric collection of “icy beats and enigmatic vibes,” it’s designed to create a cool, ambient backdrop for city building. The radio station will be available separately for $4.99 / £4.49 / €4.99, or bundled with Bridges & Ports and in the existing Ultimate and Expansion Pass editions.
With Bridges & Ports, Cities: Skylines II continues to broaden its infrastructure focus — this time steering players toward the water. Whether it’s constructing drawbridges that open for passing freighters or developing massive port networks to fuel industry and tourism, this expansion aims to give every shoreline purpose.
Bridges & Ports and Cold Wave Channel both set sail on October 29, 2025 for PC.
