Bulwark Studios and Kasedo Games have dropped a new gameplay overview video for Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II, giving players their first proper look at what’s coming in the turn-based tactical sequel.
The video highlights several additions over the 2018 original, starting with something fans have wanted for years: two fully playable campaigns. This time, battles won’t just be seen through the lens of the Adeptus Mechanicus—players will also be able to command the Necron side, bringing a new perspective (and plenty of metallic menace) to the conflict.
Alongside that, the footage teases new units, weapons, and biomes, each designed to expand the tactical sandbox. While the first game leaned heavily into atmospheric presentation, this sequel seems set on broadening both scale and variety of encounters, with fresh gameplay mechanics woven in.
No release date has been confirmed yet, but Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II is in development for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Wishlist on Steam.
