Surviving Mars: Relaunched is on the way, with Paradox Interactive and Haemimont Games giving their 2018 sci-fi city builder a full remaster treatment. The updated edition will release soon on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, packing visual upgrades, a redesigned UI, and every expansion ever released—alongside brand-new content.
The Relaunched edition includes the entire catalogue of DLC, from major expansions like Space Race, Project Laika, and Green Planet, down to cosmetics and radio stations, all reworked for the updated release. On top of that, it adds the “Martian Assembly” update, introducing colony factions and politics. Colonists will form agendas and demand policies, forcing players to navigate governance in addition to the usual Martian survival struggles. Push back Earth’s influence, write laws, and even chase independence—it’s not just dust storms that could topple your colony anymore.
Beyond the new mechanics, Haemimont has also upgraded the graphics and lighting, promising sharper visuals across modern hardware, and implemented a streamlined UI to make colony management less of a hassle. Mod support is also fully integrated, letting players browse, install, and share mods directly in-game across all platforms.

For pricing, the Relaunched edition will retail at $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99. Existing owners of Surviving Mars will get a discount, dropping the price to $19.99 / £17.50 / €19.99 if purchased on the same platform.
While Paradox is keeping the exact launch date under wraps for now, they’re clear that Surviving Mars: Relaunched is coming “soon.” For anyone who never left Earth the first time around, this looks like the definitive entry point into life on the Red Planet. Wishlist on Steam.
