Star Valor, the acclaimed open-world space RPG, is about to get even bigger. Developer Rafael Burgos has announced the Base Building DLC, an expansion that lets players carve out their own foothold in the galaxy. Launching on July 28, 2025, this long-awaited update brings deep construction, customization, and defensive gameplay into the heart of Star Valor’s sandbox universe.
Since its release in August 2022, Star Valor has given players a vast, procedurally generated galaxy to explore — from piloting custom ships to trading, crafting, and fighting their way to galactic fame. Now, with the Base Building expansion, players can take the next step: establishing and defending their very own space bases.
The DLC introduces a host of new features, including multiple station types and a range of internal modules that allow deep customization. Whether you’re setting up a trade hub, a military outpost, or a hidden pirate den, the choice is yours. Players can even capture enemy hideouts and repurpose them as their own.
A new Engineer ship role joins the lineup, designed specifically to enhance base-building capabilities. Alongside this, several new ship models will be added to the base game, giving players more variety for their fleets.
