Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer gameXcite have announced Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown, a new story-driven survival strategy game set in the Star Trek universe and officially licensed by Paramount Consumer Products. The title is in development for PC and consoles.
The game places players aboard the U.S.S. Voyager, stranded in the Delta Quadrant, and tasks them with steering the ship and crew back to Earth. Gameplay blends exploration, ship and resource management, roguelite progression, and branching decision-making. Each run through the Delta Quadrant is intended to be unique, with Voyager itself being reshaped and reconfigured based on choices made during the journey.
Across 12 playable sectors, players will navigate diplomacy, moral dilemmas, and encounters with both allies and hostile forces. Crew dynamics will play a central role, with familiar faces from the show returning, though their fates may shift depending on the captain’s decisions.

Daedalic COO Jonas Hüsges described the project as one rooted in a passion for Star Trek storytelling, aiming to remain true to canon while expanding narrative possibilities. gameXcite’s Game Director Daniel Bernard added that the title is designed to let players “chart their own course through the unknown,” rather than simply retell Voyager’s established story.
A first trailer is now available on YouTube, with a Steam page live for those who want to follow updates on the project.
