The galactic arms race is about to escalate. Stardock has announced that the Reinforcements DLC for Sins of a Solar Empire II will arrive on September 25, 2025, bringing new command ship classes and lore-driven factional victory conditions to the long-running space strategy series.
The DLC expands both fleet composition and endgame possibilities. Each faction gains a new command ship class—a heavyweight between capital ships and titans—that brings firepower, utility, and fresh tactical options.

New Command Ships
- TEC Enclave – Takadaran Command Fortress: A mobile cruiser-scale shipyard that can churn out TEC cruisers mid-battle.
- TEC Primacy – Khevarkov Modular Battleship: A strike vessel with modular loadouts, ranging from railguns to hangar bays.
- Vasari Alliance – Sularkon Tyrant: A city-ship fortress with a built-in Phase Gate, designed to dominate entire sectors.
- Vasari Exodus – Anarkrul Wanderer: A colossal refugee-carrier retooled for war, loaded with defenses and strikecraft.
- Advent Wrath – Oblivia Dreadnought: A frontline beast armed with a Super Heavy PsiKinetic Lance.
- Advent Reborn – Justicia Dreadnought: A towering dreadnought that becomes deadlier as allies fall, retaliating with catastrophic force.
Factional Victory Conditions
The update doesn’t stop at bigger ships. Each faction now has unique victory conditions that tie directly to their lore and playstyle:
- Vasari – The Departure: Construct Arkships and escape through a star.
- Advent – Mass Conversion: Convert entire systems via planetary structures.
- Trader Emergency Coalition – Super Novalith Offensive: Build a doomsday Novalith cannon to obliterate planets into submission.
According to Stardock’s Executive Producer Brian Clair, the DLC aims to shift how players approach the late game:
“The Reinforcements DLC isn’t just about adding bigger ships—it’s about giving players entirely new ways to think about victory,” Clair said.

The Reinforcements DLC launches September 25, 2025. It will be available as a standalone purchase for $14.99, included in the Premium Edition, and also as part of the Sins of a Solar Empire II Content Pass. Players can wishlist it now ahead of release.
