Belgian indie studio Happy Volcano has announced that Modulus, their voxel-based factory simulation game, will enter Early Access on October 22, 2025. Known for its relaxing gameplay loop with no timers, no combat, and no failure states, Modulus offers a meditative factory-building experience focused on creativity and modular design.
As part of Steam Automation Fest (July 14–21), Happy Volcano released two new trailers.
What Awaits Players in Early Access:
- The Tech Tree – Unlock islands, upgrades, and tools using Data Shards.
- Advanced Systems – New Sorters, Warehouses, Drone Deliveries, and Logic Automation.
- Cosmetics & Customisation – Enhanced visual options for creative factory builds.
