Frosthaven, the highly anticipated digital adaptation of the acclaimed board game, is set to launch in Early Access on July 31, 2025, priced at $39.99 on Steam. Players who join early will enjoy a 10% launch discount until August 7.
To mark the occasion, developer teams have partnered with Twin Sails, the publisher behind Gloomhaven Digital, to offer a special bundle that includes both Frosthaven and Gloomhaven Digital. This bundle will also be available on launch day.
The Early Access release will cover roughly one-third of the planned full game content, giving players a chance to experience the northern frontier firsthand. Players are encouraged to provide feedback, helping to shape the game’s development over the course of Early Access.
At launch, players can expect:
- Single-player and online co-op multiplayer modes
- NVIDIA GeForce NOW support
- Eight unique characters, including six starters and two unlockables
- Over 40 tactical quests, complete with in-depth tutorial missions
- More than 100 choice-driven events
- Outpost building mechanics, allowing players to construct buildings and unlock new gameplay features
Content updates are planned every three months, steadily expanding the world and gameplay options. Whether you are a veteran of the board game or a newcomer, Frosthaven aims to deliver a deep, tactical experience right from the start.
The adventure begins July 31.
