Amplitude Studios and publisher Hooded Horse have dropped a free demo for ENDLESS Legend 2, giving strategy fans a chance to test the waters before its full release on September 22, 2025. The announcement comes with another milestone: the game has now racked up over 250,000 wishlists on Steam.
The demo, available from today until August 18, offers a limited slice of the turn-based strategy sequel. Players can choose between two factions — the militaristic Kin of Sheredyn or the harmony-focused Aspects — and go head-to-head with the Necrophages. The preview covers two tide-fall events and is capped at a set number of turns. Progress made here won’t carry over to the early access launch.
Set on the shifting world of Saiadha, ENDLESS Legend 2 builds on the original’s blend of exploration, empire management, and tactical combat. The full game will include five playable factions, unlimited turns, and expanded strategic options as players adapt to a dynamic map where oceans recede and terrain transforms over time.
For those keeping score, this is Amplitude’s second trip into the ENDLESS Legend universe, with Hooded Horse stepping in as publisher for the sequel. The limited-time demo is live now on Steam. Once August 18 rolls around, it’s back to waiting until the early access release next month.
If you want to try before you wishlist — or just see what all the fuss is about — you’ve got one week to march your armies across Saiadha. After that, it’s sink or swim. Check it out on Steam.
