Relic has dropped the first full gameplay footage of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition, giving fans a proper look at what’s changing—and what’s staying gloriously the same.
The 4K gameplay video is hosted by Design Director Philippe Boulle, who walks through a mission from the original campaign while pointing out the technical and gameplay improvements. Expect cleaner visuals, updated effects, and some quality-of-life tweaks—but the core Dawn of War experience is very much intact.
The Definitive Edition launches August 14, 2025, priced at $29.99 USD. Players who already own the Dawn of War – Anniversary Edition will get a 30% discount.
