Becastled arrives October 23, 2025, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, offering a mix of calm, daytime city-building and high-stakes, RTS-style nighttime defense.
By day, it’s all about the idyllic side of rulership—laying roads, placing taverns, decorating streets, and watching your Sun Kingdom grow into a thriving medieval settlement. You’ll manage farms, markets, and resource gathering while keeping villagers content, because a happy populace works harder and fights braver.
When the sun sets, the tone shifts. The Moon Beasts march in with siege towers, battering rams, and even dragons. Your carefully placed walls, ballistas, and catapults are put to the test in escalating nightly assaults.
Terrain and seasons add to the tension. Hills and rivers can serve as natural defenses—until winter freezes waterways, turning them into enemy highways. Adapting to these changes and stockpiling resources can mean the difference between survival and ruin.
Armies grow from basic infantry to trebuchet crews, and in desperate times, every villager can be called to defend the walls. The cycle is simple but relentless: build in peace, survive the night, expand, and repeat—until you can finally push back the creatures of the Moon for good. Check it out or try out the demo on Steam.
